This tool can be used to show parts of the Golden ratio φ (phi) or to search in the long series of numbers. In this tool φ has up to 1 million decimals.
In mathematics, two quantities are in the golden ratio φ if their ratio is the same as the ratio of their sum to the larger of the two quantities. φ is approximately equal to 1.61803.
φ is an irrational number, meaning that it cannot be written as the ratio of two integers. Since φ is irrational, it has an infinite number of digits in its decimal representation and it does not end with an infinitely repeating pattern of digits.
